Trade Show Report Beautyworld 2016

The Beautyworld Middle East is the largest international trade fair for beauty products, hair, fragrances and wellbeing in the Middle East & Africa and one of the top 3 beauty exhibitions worldwide. As a truly international event, the Beautyworld Middle East offers visitors the convenience of meeting suppliers and customers face to face over three days as well as discovering the latest market developments and trends.

The 21st edition took place from 15 - 17 May 2016 welcomed over 37,000 visitors and featured over 1,500 exhibitors from 60 countries. Beautyworld Middle East’s influence has spread not only across the Middle East and Africa plus the Indian subcontinent, but has gone well beyond, offering thousands of influential trade buyers the latest beauty trends and exciting new opportunities for their businesses.

The trade show was held in Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center, UAE. Our booth was located at S1F26 in the German Pavilion. Besides a broad range of our latest fine fragrance developments – divided into masculine, female and oriental – we also presented some of our latest personal and household care concepts, such as “Macarons4Beauty” and “Oriental Gift Set”. Nevertheless, the main focus was the fine fragrances business with fascinating concepts, such as “Fragrance Stars”, “Fragrance Club” and “Smok(ing) collection”. Furthermore, we inspired the visitors with our solid perfume innovation Scent2Last.

We are totally satisfied with our Beautyworld participation in 2016, consisting key account relationships were strengthened and interesting new contacts were generated, which have to be developed further and followed-up in the next months.

Trade Show Report in-cosmetics 2016

From 12th to 14th April 2016 the in-cosmetics once again proved itself as the leading global business event for personal care ingredients. Visitors came from 131 countries, with 63% travelling to France from other European countries, as well as Asia, North America and South America. The event, the largest in its 26-year history, reported record results for visitor, exhibitor and exhibition space figures. Over three days, 17.202 industry professionals attended the event, a 14% increase on the 2015 event.

The in-cosmetics brings together the world’s leading personal care ingredients suppliers, formulators, R&D and marketing specialists and showcases the most diverse range of innovative cosmetics ingredients, services and technologies. Dominated by new product launches, the 2016 exhibition saw many major new developments unveiled, with more than 100 products showcased in the “Innovation Zone” alone.
Bell presented itself at a 45m² stand in the „Fragrance in Cosmetics Zone“ in hall 1.

The three main concepts; „Naturally Natural“ with natural cosmetic-conform fragrances, „Softness & Cocooning“ with powdery and soft notes for skin care applications and the „Macarons4Beauty“ concept with delicious and spicy-sweet compositions, which were presented at the trade show for the first time and highlighted Bell´s innovation capacity, aroused a lot of positive feedback. Also in the home care and in the fine fragrances segment, the Bell showed its capability with an oriental giftset for different candle applications and seductive Boudoir as well as noble Smok(ing) fine fragrance creations.
Thanks to the Bell team consisting of sales people, RnD representatives and marketing specialists from France and Germany, the trade show was very successful.

All three days have been very busy, with many people from all over the world visiting our stand and we would like to thank all our customers, distributors and supporters for their commitment and cooperation at the trade show.

The next year´s in-cosmetics 2016 will take place in London, April 04 – 06.

Trade Show Report FIE 2015

Food ingredients (Fi) Europe and Natural ingredients (Ni) once again proved itself as the world's leading exhibition for food and beverage ingredient sourcing and the crucial meeting point for the global food and beverage industry.

Fi Europe & Ni closed its doors on December 3rd 2015, after a very success-ful 3 day event, with packed aisles, busy seminar theatres, bustling exhibitor stands and full conference rooms. The show brought together over 19,700 food and beverage professionals from 119 different countries and more than 1,400 global ingredients suppliers, including 200 new exhibitors. Most visitors came from France, Germany, the Netherlands, China, UK, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Denmark and Switzerland.

What made the difference at this edition of Fi Europe & Ni was the level of new innovation showcased on the show floor. The ever popular New Product Zone sponsored by Innova Market Insights, displayed 30+ new products and highlighted recent launches from exhibitors at the forefront of innovation.
The innovation highlight was the Fi Innovations Awards which honoured the latest ingredient innovations across ten categories.

Bell presented itself at a 80 m² booth in Hall 6. With the help of a large staff of sales representatives from Bell France, Bell US, and Bell Germany the exhibition was very successful and a good opportunity to meet customers and suppliers and take a closer look at some new and promising trends. Altogether, 166 meetings were held at our booth, with both – already existing customers and new, promising business contacts, allowing us to gain new ideas for developing our businesses and to put our customer relations on a strong footing.

Besides a portfolio of botanical extracts, Bell also presented new and innovative flavour concepts for sweet & dairy products such as veggie gums, sweet macarons, cream fillings for pralines and chocolate and protein shakes. Bell further presented flavour ideas for savory products like hot & spicy sauces, a flavour range for culinary herbs, flavours for vegetarian cold cuts and snacking trends. The visitors at the booth also had the chance to take a closer look at some beverage concepts for fruit-flavoured water, lemonades, vegan soft drinks, extreme shots, gin and cream liqueurs.

Fi Europe returns in 2017 to the Messe Frankfurt, Germany with four halls of exhibitors. (28.-30. November 2017)
